Terms of Use
By using ExamTrail Prep, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
1. What ExamTrail Prep is
ExamTrail Prep is an independent study application with original practice questions, explanations, timed simulations, and essay practice across four subject areas. It is a study aid—not an official test, an official practice test, or a route to a credential.
2. No affiliation
ExamTrail Prep is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, authorized by, or approved by GED Testing Service LLC or the American Council on Education. Its questions, passages, explanations, and simulations are independently created. We do not reproduce official test content or use official logos or designs.
GED® is a registered trademark of the American Council on Education and is administered exclusively by GED Testing Service LLC. Trademark references are for identification only.
3. Scores are internal estimates
Every score, percentage, or readiness estimate shown by the application is an internal calculation based only on practice within ExamTrail Prep. It is not an official score, does not use the official scoring or equating process, and does not predict an actual test result.
4. Who may use it
You may use ExamTrail Prep if you are 13 or older. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian. Anyone under 13 should not use the application.
5. Temporary study sessions
No registration is currently required. Study activity is kept only in the active browser tab and may be lost when that tab closes, browser storage is cleared, or the service changes. Do not put sensitive personal information in notes or feedback.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to copy, scrape, republish, or resell site content; guess or brute-force credentials; probe or overload the service; submit unlawful or abusive material; or use the service to build or train a competing product. We may restrict access in response to abuse.
7. Content and licenses
ExamTrail Prep’s original questions, explanations, passages, written content, and visual design are owned by ExamTrail Prep and protected by applicable law. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to use them for study. Third-party software, names, and marks remain subject to their owners’ rights and licenses.
8. Your content
Your notes and answers remain yours. By voluntarily submitting feedback, you allow us to use it to improve the application without obligation or compensation.
9. Availability and data
The service is provided “as is.” We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability. Features may change or end. Although reasonable measures are used to protect data, we do not guarantee against all loss. Save anything you cannot afford to lose.
10. Educational accuracy
We work to keep content accurate, but errors are possible. Please report suspected errors through the feedback form. The application is not a substitute for a qualified teacher or an official preparation program.
11. Advertising
The application does not currently display advertising. Before introducing advertising, we will update these terms and the Privacy Policy. Ads will be distinguishable from study content and will not appear inside timed simulations.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, ExamTrail Prep is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, lost data or progress, or examination outcomes. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The date above will change, and material changes may be announced in the application. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where local consumer law requires otherwise.
